“When my daughter wanted to start playing an instrument, the school teacher recommended Metro Gnome as having the most reasonable rentals. Since then we have rented and with payments applying to purchase, we've bought two violins, a guitar and a keyboard, with plenty of music books and miscellaneous equipment in between. The folks at Metro Gnome are young and casual. You won't get sales-pitched in here. If you want something they'll try to help you, if you don't they won't bother you. They have made lots of small adjustments and repairs for us free of charge - I've never seen any written policy so I think it's just kindness and/or courtesy. We like 'em and we recommend 'em.”

Metro Gnome Music allows 100% of your rent to go toward the purchase of the instrument you are renting, or one of equal or greater value from our rental stock. We only require one month's rent up front, and take care of all repairs due to normal wear and tear for free during your rental contract. An optional protection plan against theft is available for between $2-$5 / month depending on the instrument. Below is a list of rental rates for our band instruments.
